Designer (Web & Print)
Seeking an energetic team player to join our creative communications team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving a national client base. Projects and assignments vary from week to week, and are often assigned based on the unique interests and skills of each team member. Projects will shift between web design and print design depending on work load. Tasks may include:
- developing graphic themes for integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of media
- designing logos, identity packages, ads, print materials, billboards, trade show booths
- designing new websites
- converting flat design concepts into functional html templates
- front-end production of new sites
- updating existing sites
- serving as a client contact
Ideal candidate will possess:
- strong creative skills
- strong graphic application knowledge (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- ability to communicate and coordinate with print vendors and manage all pre-press details
- at least a basic understanding of CSS, XHTML, and Web standards
- user interface and user experience design skills
- ability to independently manage quality assurance
- ability to collaborate, to manage project details effectively, and to work independently
Expertise with Flash, photography, videography/editing, and/or javascript highly desirable.

Web Developer
Seeking a versatile, energetic programmer who enjoys ongoing challenges & learning. You will be joining a small, collaborative work team in a fast-paced environment. Projects and assignments vary from week to week, and are often assigned based on the unique interests and skills of each team member. The focus of this position will be backend programming, but front-end projects and routine site maintenance will be requested as well. Tasks may include:
- producing new websites, often with custom database & PHP development
- developing new components for existing sites
- working with blogs, content management systems, e-commerce systems
- creating interactive forms, calculators, and other utilities
- search engine optimization and analysis
- updating existing sites
- serving as a client contact and project manager
- expertise in PHP & SQL
- good understanding of CSS, XHTML, Web standards
- good understanding of user interface/user experience best practices
- basic javascript skills
- experience with CMSs
Apache Administration in a LAMP environment is a plus. With the right candidate, it’s possible this position will also play a role in IT support and Web server administration.
